NIKE Tournament of Champions 2018: Miami Country Day wins Droesch Division; Redondo Union tops Smith Division By Bob Corwin Miami Country Day School of Miami, won the Clare Droesch (top) Division of the 2018 Nike Tournament of Champions (TOC) defeating Windward School of Los Angeles, California, 52-51 in a final's battle of two teams worthy of national ranking.
During the Carolina Holiday Classic we viewed some very talented prospects that are in the 2020 recruiting class. The event matched up some talented high school teams from NC, SC & TN, and was hosted by Lady Ballers Insider (NC). I have posted girls from the games I watched, excluding Providence Day & Butler HS.
Fairfax, VA – The 11thannual edition of Art Turner Memorial, was once again a huge success with many nationally ranked teams and players. For the past four years, NYGHoops Report has been covering the event from start to finish. Here are some of the standouts from the event:
Livonia, MI.- The Lady Baller Insider Michigan Mega Scrimmage has quickly become a staple in the mitten girls’ basketball scene. The one-day event allowed many of the state top prospects and late bloomers the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of many college coaches and scouts. Similar to years past, I got a chance to see some players that I wasn’t familiar with prior to attending the event. In this writeup - I will focus mainly on sophomores.
