Westchester Hooper’s guard Teisha Hyman is starting to emerge on the national level in a very talented 2019 class. While it's no secret to the people in the Northeast, Teisha followed up her productive high school season with a very strong showing in the spring evaluation period while playing on at the 16U level. NYGHoops Report got a chance to speak to the Woodlands HS star about her recruiting and some of her goals.
“It gives me a lot of confidence playing against some of the best players in the country; it shows me where I’m at and shows me what I need to work on. “Hyman who is already a 1,000 point scorer for her career continues “Some of my goals are to keep working on my shooting and defense; another goal is to win another gold ball (Sectional Championship in high School).”The 5-foot-9, do it all guard continues “I’m visiting Maryland at the end of May; I’ve visited Hofstra when I was in the 7thgrade two years ago.”
Westchester Hooper’s Director Bryan Williams “one of my goals are to see her represent her country on USAB team.” The rising sophomore currently holds offers from Rutgers, St. Johns, Syracuse, South Florida & Hofstra. But is also being recruited by Maryland, Ohio State & South Carolina.
