Fresh Meadows, NY- This past weekend NYGHoops Report spent the weekend at Francis Lewis High School at the Hoops4 Hearts event. The first-year event serves as a charity event to help raise awareness and funds for children with heart conditions.

Dabo looks like the next TMLA star, the long lean athletic forward came off the bench providing meaningful minutes. She is still growing into her body, and her game is still a work in progress. However, her motor, explosiveness and length are all great signs.
 
A'Nyah Barber 5'03 PG Immaculate Heart Academy NJ
 
She may have had arguably one of the top performances of the entire event. This lefty speed merchant, has a very good understanding of the game. Sunday’s game was only her second-high school game, but she performed like a season vet balancing her scoring and distribution of the ball to teammates. 
 
Farrah Pitt 5-'05 PG St Joseph, NY
 
Nicely built, athletic point guard showed the ability to play in both transition and in half court sets. Nice mid-range game, showed ability to finish at the rim with contact. Played both on and off the ball. 
 
Imani Harris 5'03 PG Monsignor Scanlan NY
 
Fearless young point guard. Very effective ball handler, showed some shooting touch from perimeter. Used quicks & ball handling to get into lane with ease. 
 
Liz Glanagan 5'06 PG Archbishop Molloy NY
 
Deceptive, witty ball handler who made subtle plays (IE hockey assists). Contributed in many ways not just scoring. Throwback floor general extension of coach type. 
 
 
Allies McGin 6'00 W Staten Island Academy, NY
At first glance, she will not blow you away. SIA has built a solid reputation in the past few years so you would not expect a Freshmen starter in the lineup. 
 
Jonella Price 6’00 W/F Neumann-Goretti, PA
 
Starter on a high school team that plays a national schedule. Versatile forward that showed some ability to play inside and outside. Nice stroke on her shot, good feel for passing the ball and handles physical play with ease.
