110 Kyierah Dempsey-Toney 6’2 F IExcel
Continues to get better to each time out. Look for her to make some noise in her senior year at Franklin HS (NJ). Dempsey-Toney possess a feel for the game, nice size, agility and the ability to alter shots. During Friday Night Lights she even connected on a few perimeter shots. She played even bigger than her listed size, ran the floor well and did a respectable job passing the ball out of the post when doubled.
49 Jessica Moore 6’00 (W) K-Low Elite
This was my first time seeing Moore, but it did not take long to see that this kid is a scholarship worthy athlete. During her time at NYG Super 64, she handled the role as primary ball handler for her team at times. When you combine her size, skill set, shooting touch and range, you know that in a pre-covid year this kid would already have something on the table.
43 Maya Cwalina 6’2 F Hoopers NY
I was very familiar with Maya coming into the event. However, one of the things that caught my attention during the event was her ability to block shots. Most of her blockeed shots are left in play and are done so effortless at times that you don’t even notice them. Cwalina, plays mostly facing the rim. During camp she also exhibited the ability to knock down the 8-10 footers. She currently holds multiple D1 Offers.
108 Taylor Norris 5’10 W/F WNY Lakers
Norris, is a stat sheet stuffer that plays for state power Bishop Kearney H.S. in Rochester, NY. The combo forward is a efficient & productive player who contributes on both ends of the court. During Friday Night Lights she held her own against players with a bigger name. She showed off good rebounding and scoring as an ability to guard multiple positions.
50 Brianna Beebe 5’10 G Athletic Tier
Again, I think this is another player who was very much so effected by not being able to play in front of college coaches. Sharing a back-court spot with UMBC bound Lacey Drake, has allowed this sharpshooter countless open shots all summer long. During NYG Super 64 Beebe, did a nice job finding open spots on the floor and knocking down shots from behind the arc.
