Astoria, NY- The Second Annual Coast to Coast Middle School Jr. All American Camp, was a huge success. To accommodate more participants in year two of this popular event, it had to be relocated to St Johns Prep HS, in Queens, NY. The skills evaluation camp was hosted by NYGHoops Report. But many other Scouts and media outlets were in attendance to take in the action at the one-day occurrence.
Kendall Dudley 5’10 W MD Belles 2024
Dudley, has your prototypical wing built and height now as a 6
th grader. She displayed dexterity in her ability to finish using both hands attacking the rim. Although she played mostly at a forward position. Without being the teams primary ball handler, she still found ways to display her play making abilities.
Leah Harmon 5’02 PG North Jersey Blast / NJ Sparks 2024
I was very familiar with this young prospect coming into the event. Harmon was dominant during the 6
th grade game. So as a staff we decided she would play both in the 6
th and 8
th grade games because of her skill sets. Good floor general that has a really good feel offensively and range to the arc. Very dependable ball handler that kept her head up even in traffic. FIY she did not disappoint playing up verses the older kids.
Lauryn Swann 5’05 G NJ Sparks 2024
Not many if any connected-on shots from behind arc besides Swann, in this age group. However, it’s safe to say she will be more than just a shooter. Swann ‘s ability to score, make productive plays, and passing ability jumps right out at you during the game. The Swann/ Harmon (Leah Harmon) NJ Sparks connection created some highlight plays tuning the 6
th grade game. She played hard on both ends, despite her listed size, she had a knack for coming up with rebounds.
Chloe Escanillas 5’01 G Team Miller Lightning 2024
Dependable ball handler but was used more as a combo and was up to the task at NYGC2C. Played under control and took what the defense gave her. What caught my eye was her touch and specially in the mid-range.
Aiyanna Culver 4’05 PG New Heights 2025
Culver may have been one of the youngest and most exciting players during game one. This young lefty applied so much pressure defensively at one point was created with at least five steals. The young floor general did a good job balancing between passing and scoring during the NYGC2C.
Tafire Vines 4’08 Wee AllStars 2026
Marianna Lee 5’01 PG New Heights 2024
Payton Dullin 4’11 G Positive Direction 2025
Allison O’Hanlon 5’06 G NY Havoc 2024
Allie Cerf 4’11 PG Albany Lady Stars 2024
