Selena Lott 5’11 (W) Columbia HS 2017 (Marquette)
Nice size, frame and athleticism … Fluid and active do it all basketball player. Showed enough defensive versatility by guarding 1-5 at the event. Did not look to score much, but was involved in many easy baskets for her teammates. Lott was a monster on the boards as well as in the transition game with her decision-making.
Olivia Owens 6’04 (P) Niskayuna 2018
Physical presence, great frame, low post player with very good athleticism, always in attack mode. Did a great job fighting for post positioning, even though she was over looked by the guards. Owens did a good job blocking shots, rebounding and running the floor. In the final game of the night I’m sure she finished with a double, double, 18 points and well over 10 rebounds.
Still did not look 100%, but was very much effective in this all-star setting. Her three-point shot making ability is the one attribute that stands right out at you. Her all around skill sets and IQ allowed her to create scoring opportunities for herself and teammates.
Dolly Cairns 5’05 (PG) Saratoga HS 2020
Coming into this event I knew little on this scoring PG, but it did not take long to figure out she’s a player. She might be small stature but she is extremely quick with the ball in her hands. She showed some court vision but excelled at putting the ball in the basket. She used the event to display a repertoire of ways to collect buckets.
Grace Heeps 5’11 (G) Columbia HS 2019
As the youngsters would say she was lit.. She had it going from behind the ark, at time knocking down shots from way beyond the arc. At last count I had her penciled in for six three-pointer and accounting for 28 points.
Ahniysha Jackson 5’07 (G) Catholic Central 2020
Jackson stole the show with her scoring stroke from behind the arc connecting on five 3’s during the event. She displayed good ball handling skills that allowed her to anywhere on the floor she choose. She finished the game with an effortless 20-point performance.
Lexi Levi 5’05 PG Seton Catholic 2017 (George Washington U)
Levi is a deceptive athletic guard that creates off the bounce with some range on her shot. She displayed a motor and competitive fire that made up for her height. She was extremely crafty with the ball in her hands and made other’s around her look better. She finished the day with 23 points while connecting on five 3’s.
Chloe Chaffin 5’09 (W) Kingston HS 2018 (Fordham)
Chaffin excelled in transition and in the open court finishing at the rim. Superior type, very strong athlete with lots of upside. She proved to be a good rebounder on both ends and loved scoring in transition.
