ASGR Top 10 All American Camp

Greenwich, CT - Over the past decade, the top 10, All American Camp has served as the stage for talented young basketball players. This past weekend, NYGHoops Report got a chance to witness this event firsthand at Greenwich Country Day School. There were 40 plus athletes from NY, NJ & CT, from the classes of 2021- 2026. Here are some of the athletes that caught my eye at the event this past Saturday. 
 
Allison Palmieri 5’9 G Bria Holmes Elite 2021
 
I was not familiar with this young lady prior to attending camp. However, it did not take long to realize she was a prospect. Her ability to score efficiently from every level was on display during her time at camp. She also played within herself and was open to share the ball with teammates. 
 
 
Aleah Bracey 5’7 PG Mass Rivals 2025
 
Bracey is a scoring threat, that scores from all three levels verses high school players. Her ability to shoot and score off the bounce served her well during 5 on 5 play. She displayed the ability to play both on and off the ball. As she continues to develop physically this will be a name to remember in the New England area. 
 
 
Emma Gentry 5’8 Bria Holes Elite 2022
 
Gentry did not come into the weekend as a hyped prospect, but she showed combination of shooting and always being around plays. She also showed that she not only a snipper, but she has a good feel for the game. She was hands down the best shooter at the event.  She connected on multiple jumpers and more than 3 three pointers during 5 on 5 play. 
 
Melanie DeMeo 5’6 PG NY Pride 2022 
 
Demeo was a standout at NYG Super 64 a few weeks earlier. The talented PG displayed poise and instincts and the ability to connect from behind the arc. 
 
Kimora Jenkins 5’10 G Bria Holmes Elite 2021
 
Jenkins is a versatile player who contributed on both ends of the floor. Exhibited the ability to play a three guard position at the camp. Also added multiple three pointers during game play.
