Cleveland Ohio- Final four weekend we had the opportunity to stop into Who’s NXT All American practice / game (Middle School).
16 Giovanna Burress 5’10 (G) NJ
This is one of the next big names out to New Jersey. Impact player that will make a name for herself right off the rip at DePaul Catholic this fall. Displayed the ability to shoot, distributing, rebound and score the ball all at a high level during the Who’s NXT all American games.
19 Erin Thomas 5’9 (G) OH
Smooth guard that delivered with consistency. Looks and plays bigger than her listed size. A shot maker that yields results. Very efficient scorer with NBA type range. Looked and played as if she was a senior high school prospect. From her performance at the WNAA I find it hard to believe there are 1O guards better that her in the 2028 class.
12 Amy Nduka 6’3 (F) WA
Everyone always looking for a big, here she is. Great hands and physique. Effective in a two-man game with the PG. But did most of her work with her back to the basket. Solid rim protector that’s did not shy away from physical play. Like most young post she has a way to go, but has the tulles to develop into a P5 post.
18 Love Lei Best 5’6 PG OR
Poised player maker, that also packs a scoring punch. Nice handles, superb court awareness and distributes with flair. Really enjoyed watching her play. Best emphasized getting the ball inside to the post. But was just as effective spacing the floor knocking down the three ball.
5 Ella Peper 6’3 (W) MA
Agile long prospect that has the size paint player and skills of a perimeter player. Peper ‘s brings deep shooting range to the table. Nice looking elevation with smooth release on jumper. Reminds me of Caroline Ducharme (Uconn), in her early years.
17 Skylar Conway 5’10 (W) TX
Strong built blue collard prospect that effected the games in many ways. I don’t think anyone got to the line more than her. Effective ball handling skills that allowed her to get to her spots and create. She is not a finished product but as she continues to improve add her to your list.
3 Leah Dewitt 5’8 (G) GA
Athletic lead-guard that competed hard on both ends. Quick off the bounce, very effective in drive and kick or dish. Shifty gave off some Hannah hilldago vybes, Efficient long ball that does not allowed defenders to sag off her. I’m sure this will be a name we hear a lot from in the future out of the Peach state.
