Truman downs Campus

Harry S. Truman H.S. holds on to defeat Grand Street Campus H.S. on their senior night 68-62. Truman currently in third place with an 8-5 record in the PSAL AA Bronx, Manhattan, Queens division. With this big win, Truman may have vastly improved their seeding in the upcoming PSAL playoffs. Which kick off in a few weeks. Going into the half, Truman held a commanding 16-point lead. Looking as if they had the game pretty much wrapped up (41-25).
 
Grand Street would put up a fight in the 3rd quarter to  hold Truman to just five points cutting the deficit to 46-43, headed into the 4th quarter. NYGHoops Report spoke to Truman twelve-year veteran head coach John Burke about the third quarter, "Basketball is like a rollercoaster you have to minimize your down period and maximize your ups; If I had to say one thing that affected us in the 3rd quarter we kind of rushed it we have to be patient and execute, we gave them momentum."
