Spring 2017 Rose Classic All- Tournament Team

Brooklyn, NY- Rose Classic championship Sunday has become an event within itself, at Middle school 113. The who’s who of the NYC basketball landscape at some point (to name a few Nick Richards incoming Kentucky Freshman, Tiny Morton Lincoln High School Coach and others), ended up stopping in to show their faces. Some of the smaller details like food, “The Icey Lady”, music, and atmosphere made the day special outside the brand of basketball being played itself. With that said, everything was available to take on a 10 hour, 80-degree spring work day. MC Joe Pope and DJ Authorize both former ballers provided an Old School block party - like atmosphere as well. When all was said and done Exodus would end the day with two championships (Senior and Biddy division). While crosstown power NJ Sparks would take home the Chip in the Junior Rose division.
