Elizabeth Martino 5’10” G National Christian Academy (MD) 2020
Martino is a very intriguing prospect that could turn out to be a big-time college player. Listed at 5 foot 10 and has a HS ready body. She can virtually score from everywhere on the court. She runs the floor tremendously well whether she has the ball is in her hands or not. Did some slashing to the rim and showed range on her shot. She played no minutes in the first half, but was inserted into the game with two minutes left in the 3rd quarter as her team trailed 33-32, she scored back to back baskets to give her team the lead as they would never look back from that point. She finished the game with 12 second half points.
Teisha Hyman 5’09” PG Woodlands HS (NY) 2019
As soon as I walked into the gym I was informed, that Hyman had reached 1,000th points mark the day before. On Sunday she finished with 27 points, with a moderate amount of shots in a lopsided game. The unselfish frehsmen phenom showed the ability to run a team while still balancing being the primary scorer for her team. She scored at all three levels. She shot the ball efficiently pulling up in the mid range, behind the arc and from the free throw line.
Felicia Aiyeotan 6’09” P Blair Academy (NJ) 2016 pictured
Seldom do you see a high school game that features two post player staller than 6 foot 5 going against each other. Aiyeotan usually has an easier out verses smaller players, this was a treat to see her battle with NC Prep center for positioning on both ends. She played an impactful role in this game finishing 17 points, 18 rebounds & 5 blocks as she was named MVP for her team.
Dyona Davis 5’08” G Harry S. Truman HS (NY) 2019
Confident lead guard that can flat out score. Showed the ability to break down defenders with her ball handling skills. Got in to the lane with ease, drove and scored as well as drove to dish to her teammates. Showed the ability to get to the basket, pull up for mid range jumpers as well as knock down the three point shot.
Breanne Bellarand 5’09” G Immaculate Conception (NJ) 2017
Athletic perimeter performer with versatility, hard nose competitive G/W prospect. She flat out plays hard on both ends of the court. Very unselfish passer that looks to get teammates involved, shows the strength to finish with contact verses bigger and taller players. Showed the ability to knock down mid range shots.
Andra Espinoza- Hunter 6’00 G/W Blair Academy (NJ) 2017
Five years ago Andra busted on the scene as the running mate of current Uconn player Saniya Chong’s as a 7th & 8th grader. She is all grown up now and carries the scoring and leadership load this season at Blair Academy. Hunter shot the ball well from the field and led them in scoring 17 hard earned points and she was the focal point of the oppositions defense. (UConn Commit)
Lanay Rodney 5’09 G Peekskill HS (NY) 2016
Sharp shooting off-guard with a college-ready frame and she showed why she is one of the most feared scorers in Westchester County. She is more than just a shooter; I would call her a scorer. Rodney showed the ability to handle the ball, but is not a point guard. She also showed the ability to rebound specially on the offensive boards, she finished her lone game at the event with 28 points.
