South Mecklenburg HS - Charlotte, N.C. Select 60 North Carolina is an Invite Only event that I had the great opportunity to cover - I have identified some of the players that I was impressed with. High School Athletes (8th - 11th grade)



Dazia Lawrence - 2019 - Guard - 5’8” - Mallard Creek HS - 1Dream - Elite Athlete that has a great ability to create shots for others - can also pull up in lane or knock down long range.

Jordan McLaighlin - 2019 - PG - 5’7” - Berry Academy - 1Dream - Scoring Point guard that can play off the ball - Highly competitive and likes to get to the rim.

Mikenzie Harvin - 2019 - 5’8” - Guard - Lexington HS - NC Team Xpress - Plays on both ends of the floor and can fill the role of all 3 guard positions - consistent shooter in the mid range and beyond.

Tanajah Hayes - 2021 - 5’5” - PG - Vance HS - 1Dream - Athletic guard who is comfortable in the up-tempo game - rhythm shooter that can also drive the ball to the rim.

Hannah Clark - 2019 - 5’4” - PG - Kings Mountain HS - Lead guard that is very poised and can run a team - Consistent jump shooter.

Trinity Thompson - 2020 - 5’5” - Guard - Harding University HS - Combo guard that has good perimeter defensive ability - Lefty can finish with both hands and operate as primary scorer.

Danasia Gray - 2019 - 5’9” - Guard - Statesville HS - Outstanding athleticism  Combo guard with ability to get rebounds over taller player - plays both ends of the floors

Nevaeh Caldwell - 2021 - 5’7” - PG - Mallard Creek HS - Extremely Athletic lead guard that can shoot the ball out to the 3pt line - Great court vision.

Jada McMillan - 2019 - 5’7” - Guard - JM Robinson HS - Elite Level Athleticism that is able to score on all 3 levels - plays really well in the open floor - good perimeter defender.

Lauren Goodwin - 2019 - 6’1” - Wing/Forward - Western Alamance HS - NC Team Xpress - Shot ready player that can get it going from Deep - Very good interior defense and passing ability.

Amhyia Moreland - 2021 - 6’0” - Forward - Vance HS - 1Dream - Scoring forward that can hit from the high post or short corner - Good interior defender - developing perimeter skills.

Jainaya Jones - 2020 - 5’0” - PG - Pamlico County HS - Can break down the defense with dribbling ability to dish or score - perimeter defender that can score from beyond the 3pt line.

Reagan Dickens - 2021 - 5’11 - Wing - Hickory Ridge HS - NC Spartans - Knock down shooter from mid range and out to 3pt line, High IQ player that communicates on floor.

Abigail Wilson - 2019 - 5’10” - Wing/Forward - West Rowan HS - Perimeter skills but ability to play under the basket - skilled passer and rebounder.

Sierra Hunter - 2019 - 5’11 - Forward - Mallard Creek HS - 1Dream - Back to the basket player that is developing mid range game - Interior banger - High level competitor.

Saniya Wilson - 2022 - 5’5” - PG - Gaston Day School - Floor Leader that can creat for self and others
