Carona, CA- This past weekend NYGHoops Report got a chance to venture out west for the 4
thAnnual EGB Elite 100 SoCal event. This event as usual brings together most of the top prospects on the west coast under one roof, to compete for two days. With over 130 plus prospect I know I may have missed a few names, but these are some of the players that caught my eye.

Rayah Marshall 6’03 F (2021) CA
She displayed a good foundation of skills, that allowed her to create with the ball in her hands. The long, lanky combo forward isn’t just mobile for her size, she was also a fluid and smooth athlete that reminded me of a young Jonquel Jones, with her ability to play on the perimeter at her size.
#76
Judea “Juju” Watkins 5’11 W (2023) CA
Really enjoy watching Juju, she is an explosive, athletic and dynamic playmaker. She plays an attacking style with confidence and type of killer instinct that can’t be taught. Impact player that I’m sure you will be hearing this name again on a consistent basis.
#68
Kennedy Smith 5’10 W (2024) CA
She has an impressive performance over the weekend. Very efficient low-key player, if she shot it more often than not it went in. Even as a middle school player competing verses older players you saw no drop off. At this point she projects at combo forward, but with some added perimeter work she will be a name worth remember for a BCS level school.

Marisa Davis 6’01 F (2021) AZ
While not a finished product yet, Davis’s size, strength, length and natural athletic ability just jumps out at you. She is one to keep an eye out for. She is physically strong, athletic and has a good idea on how to use both attributes. Loves to compete, although she does not shoot it consistently yet. She reminds me of a young Victoria Vivians.
#110
Taylor Bigby 6’00 W (2021) NV
Coming into the event I was already familiar with Bigby and her game, having seen her in High School, AAU & Bluestar 30. But like fine wine her game gets better with time. She used her first step and size to get to the basket time and time again. She also showed the ability to finish on either side of the basket using both hands and finished through contact.
#16
Taylor Donaldson 5’7 F (2020) CA
Lefty athletic PG that looked to push the tempo but was under control. Used her quicks to get where she wanted. She put the defense on alter with a few shots, was more of a scorer than a shooter.

D’Arrah Allen 5’06 PG (2021) CA
Strong built floor general with a quick crossover. She is very crafty and plays strong and bigger than her listed size. She changes direction on a dime, She was able to get in the lane and create. She also came up with a hand full of steals or tie up situations.

Cypree Stevens 5’04 G (2021) NV
Enjoyed watching this hard nose and tough athletic point. She played bigger than listed size on both ends and did not shy away from contact. Speed and quickness where on display when she had the ball. She is a 1 on 1 creator, mid-range game also facilitates for others.
