Bronx, NY – The 6th Annual NYG March Madness was loaded with future high school stars. With team representing the following states NY, NJ, PA and Mass. Bellow are spme of the standouts from the event.
Serwah Banahehe 6’5 P Kyrie / Strickland Stars 2029
Size always trumps everything in the bball word. While not yet a fished product, trust she has the tools to be a textbook post prospect. Banaheh hold her ground in the paint and protects the basket. As she continues to perfect her craft offensively she will be one many coaches will want to keep an eye out for,
Madison Wallace 5’6 PG Caste Athletics 2029
Smooth floor general that packs a scoring punch. Wallace ability to stretch out the floor with her three-point shooting ability was on full display during March madness. This will be a name to remember in the NYC BBAll landscape as she continues to refind her game.
Kimora Pearson 5’10 Top Notch 2028
Pearson was one of those players that possess the ability to play multiple positions from the 1-4. Her game reminds me of a young Zoe Brooks. Skilled enough to play the point and strong enough to play in the lane at this age. As she continues to work on her condition that will reflect what level she ends up at the collegiate level. IQ, ball handling shooting aand feel for the game she checks all the boxes.
Brooklyn Fedzina 5’9 W Palisade Elite 2030
This was my first-time seeing Brooklyn play, happy I got the chance to see her play twice. Fedzina displayed a scores mentality. Working primarily from the perimeter but when needed posting up at times. Nice floater game attacking of the bounce and showed some ability to Finished through contact.
Gravanna Crosby 6’3 Exodus NYC 2029
Great basketball frame… Displayed the ability o play on transition as well as in half court sets. Looked very comfortable shooting from the perimeter and was not afraid to mix it up in the post.
Annie Gentile. 5’5 PG Jersey Raptors 2028
This Jersey product reminds me of ----. Gentile is the coach’s kid that that leaves it all out on the court. Three level scorer that showed the ability to balance between running a team a scoring and winning game.
Mia Lawson 5’3 G Top Notch Lady Ballers 2030
Feisty hard noise two-way player Lawson brings it each possession. Don’t let her size fool you, inch for inch she may have been one of the top scoring threats over the weekend. If you overplay her, she goes around you, sag off her she made you pay with her efficient shooting.
Paige Palmer 5’11 Jersey Raptors 2030
Palmer has a nice combination of size and skill for such a young age. Poise and confident showed the ability to play under the rim as well as on the wing. Would not surprise me if she turns out to be a 6 foot 2 power 5 do it all.
Giuliana Huaranga 5’10 W NJ Raptors 2029
Physical and strong on the wing, can spot up and score from the perimeter. Played up in the 8th grade division and looked right at home. Plays with good vision that allows her to facilitate plays for teammates. Was just as comfortable in Iso ball as running in a system.
Amaya Walker 5’8 G Rockland Spartans 2029
Left really impressed after watching walker play. She plays bigger than her listed size. Amaya displayed an ability to knock down shots and score with the best of them during the event. First game she finished with 20 plus points connecting on six three pointers.
Sophie Feeney 5’11 G NJ Raptors 2029
Mature and confident guard that played up a year. Thrived in transition, efforts is there with or without the ball. Good understanding of the game and reading the floor. Each time out game keeps evolving.
LLeigh (Ileigh) McBeth 5;5 PG Philly Belles 2029
Speed, speed and more speed and specially with the ball in her hands. Individual skills allow her to navigate in/out traffic in transition. Plays with her heart and makes plays to facilitate the game for her teammates.
Alyssa Lopez 5’6 G Castle Athletics 2028
Combo guard with quickness and cleverness old school do it all type. Can create her own shots or improve options for teammates. Played 1-3 showed the ability to score as well as run a team. Look forward to hearing this name in the five Boros.
Amari Price 5’2 PG Exodus NYC 2032
I really could not believe how young Price was, after watching her play. Poise beyond her years. Price is efficient scorer that plays with confidence that of a high school player. Checks the boxes as a three-level scorer and will finish in traffic.
Madie Bravo 4’9 PG Castle 2032
Promising young floor general. Limited size is not a remote issue. Has multiple gears, quickness and crafty with the ball in her hands. Can set the tone offensively has range beyond the arc.
Lele Lopez 5’4 PG Top Noth Lady Ballers 2030
Lopez displayed exactly what you expected to see in a young NYC point guard plus a jumper. She pushed the ball when opportunity presented itself. At times she dictated the tempo threw her slick ball handling. Lele got into the lane at will creating drive dish, drive kick or drop-off to post players.

Amber Lewis 6’2 F Top Notch Lady Ballers 2030
